My husband called uscis last night and had few questions for her. again the lady was nice and told him they are re evaluating their processing time. And that they are going to update the website max in a week or 2... She suggested that he calls back next week.. Hopefully she will give him an accurate estimate of when our case would be abdjucated... at least she's been honest!

It's really pathetic how they can't sort this problem out and get their processing times back to normal. Makes no sense to me...

After reading post # 1432, I have compiled my I-129F (K3) documents. I will drop in the mail in 30 min. I cannot afford to wait *** 17 months. K3 processing time is 5 months.

It's been over six months since I filed my K3 and still no word. And yes, I have spoken to Tier 2 regarding the five month wait for the K3 visa etc. Still nothing.

They're going off to war. You know, with bullets, bombs, and rocket launchers. I think a little family time is called for, whether we support said war or not.

Well, you have a point, but they weren't drafted but volunteered, you know. They could choose a different career and be with their family more if they chose family over work, couldn't they.

i called uscis, some female answered, she did not wanna transfer me to a tier 2 ,

i tried 3 reasons

service request,

to check with tier 2 if file transferred or not

she did not transfer

iam calling again right now

If this happens to you again, or to anyone, request the operator's name and identification number, write them down and then request to be transferred to a Tier 1 supervisor. Advise the operator that you are requesting the transfer as you are filing a complaint directly against the operator for violating protocols. If the operator disconnects you, call back and inform the next operator that you need to speak with a Tier 1 supervisor to file a complaint.

Believe it or not, this process does work, that's why I now keep a record of every person's name and id number before I even start discussing anything.

I REALLY think you should refrain from making statements like this. You are bound to start an unnecessary argument by upsetting people. Many people respect military people because they choose to risk their lives..someone has to do it. There is nothing we can do to change USCIS's processing priority decisions and I think many people do not have a problem with military people getting preference. Without them we wouldn't have this desirable country to bring our spouses to. So lets just lay off the military personnel and avoid a debate about whether or not they deserve preferential treatment please.

Hats-off. I have no problem. In fact they should be given priority. I don't mind waiting few more months for our servicemen.

I think the one thing ive learned in this process is how inhumane it is....hard working people who pay their taxes yet are forced to be seperated by the person they love for months/years, just pathetic

• Humanitarian situation

Sad But that website has a reputation for being the place to go if you had an overstay, need a waiver, etc. I guess I'm not wholly surprised they're more likely to view I-130s suffering in the name of DACA as being a fair tradeoff.

Still, the frequent changing of which service centers are handling which petitions can't be helping. Inefficiencies in the process affect all of us. Everyone would benefit from USCIS being held accountable for its performance.

so as an april 13 filier, is it worth to file k3 now? or should i just continue to wait?

I know i2u is a place to go for difficult cases.

However, USCIS seems to be able to handle and adjudicate all other petitions (K-1, DACA, I-601A etc) in a timely manner. Just not I-130s.

Why?

We must make some noise too.
