Just got notification that my petition has been approved. Last Wednesday I sent letter to the director of nsc, assistant director and chief of staff, also copied ombudsman and today I got approved.

Lovemytico has a copy of that letter. Please send the same letter to tsc for ur approval.

CONGRATS ! ! ! Really happy for you ! Keep us updated on the K-3 status. I think you will be sent to the embassy before your I-130 is even logged in. Will you go for the K-3 if it gets to the embassy?

I am gonna hold off on the letter because I am getting conflicting information from USCIS and from the senator's office. Waiting on an answer to another inquiry on Friday afternoon after I received something from TSC saying they just received my K-3 on Feb 10th.. I have verification that my file was infact transferred on Nov 29th. They have no idea what is going on. The customer service people look at the date in the screen and they use it as the current info. They don't have access to all of the case history. I really need to know what the heck is going on. Its almost 11 months. My 1st anniversary is the 9th of this month. I never thought I would be stuck in the system at this point. I thought we would at least be waiting on the waiver approval by now. I hope this is our week. We are both so frustrated.

Thanks everyone - this USCIS process has been a spirit killer for me. Thank God, I am off their hook.

Since both my I130 and I129F were approved, I will send an email to NVC opting to go the I129F route, therefore avoiding the delay there. I hope they honor my request; at this point I don't care spending $1000 for adjustment of status.

LoveMyTico, consider sending that letter to accelerate your process.

I firmly believe some officer at USCIS sat on my file, until they got contacted by the director to look at the file after the director read my mail.

That's what I intend to do. I intend to contact NVC and tell them I prefer the I129F and ready to incur the additional cost. I am sure they will agree to it. Look at it this way, going the I129 route, you will end up spending about $1000 extra and you know how our government likes money ;)
