ok so Friday 13th - shmirthteenth!!!!

@LoveMyTico - you should keep your fingers crossed more often!!!! I got mine crossed for you and I'm really sending you all of my best vibes ever!

Just a few hours after getting the A# change notice I get the ever so anxiously awaited APPROVAL e-mails!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm not getting any sleep tonight, neither is hubby - see as how i woke him up at 5:30am..... hehehe kicking.gif

Happy but totally stunned now blink.png still mad it took this long and that nbc let 8 mos go by without regard for any of us as people, but relieved that now i can finally begin to envision the future... home, babies, peace of mind.... without as much anxiety..... it's the little things in life... tongue.png

I'm updating the spreadsheet now (CSC)

So TreezyTran, the next steps are: they send our files to nvc, who then takes their sweet time logging in our cases into their system, we then get a number from them to track our case by (i think), we get to pay them a fee, once they get the money one of the forms online becomes available for us to fill out, we have to send them also the rest of the forms like the financial support affidavit and our originals and copies of marriage cert etc... copy of beneficiary's passport and passport pics and once they chew it all out they will set up the appt with our embassies for the beneficiary and send the beneficiary instructions on where to get the medical done. ... kind of summarized, there's good guidance on VJ, join the nvc thread for december they have lots of good advice.

Actually got NOA2 yesterday (Friday the 13th smirteenth indeed) but I only found out today! Transferred to CSC and got last transfer notice on 2nd Dec. NOA1 was 18th April.

Good luck to those still waiting, your time is close I can feel it. (Especially Lovemytico, I don't like to have faves, but I really hope you get yours before christmas!) Will update my timeline and spreadsheet now (before anuspras reminds me wink.png )

Yes it's impossible to explain why it takes so long, especially since we've seen these approvals 1-2 weeks after transfer - just goes to show they technically could have processed us in 1-2 weeks 8 months ago!!!! Makes me livid just thinking about it.

Yep, I was about to post the same thing. While I was in Costa Rica, I saw approvals on Saturday... And correct me if Im wrong, I think they were from TSC. Or at least one was....

Let's hope they took some files home and are working some OT for the holiday season. LET'S GO TEXAS ! ! !

i saw online tuesday that we were approved (post decision activity) on dec. 9 from texas. now however it is saying initial review due to my requested address change. so i have no idea whats going on. perhaps they wont forward to nvc until after processing address change request.

March 14: Resent AOS packet as I realized previous two packets had JPEG's in them. This is my first correct packet with all PDF's.

March 6: AOS Packet sent EP (I did not know at the time but 3 attachments were JPEG's, only PDF's are accepted)

March 12: EP enrollment confirmation received

March 13: Resent AOS packet email as I am confused if they received original since EP enrollment confirmation was received by me after AOS was sent.

March 14: Resent AOS packet as I realized previous two packets had JPEG's in them. This is my first correct packet with all PDF's.

March 17: Resent AOS packet for the 4th time with all PDF's and finally got a confirmation of receipt. This one was the only one sent during "business hours"

March 20: IV Bill Invoiced & Paid

March 24: IV Bill Shows Paid and DS260 Available online

March 25: Supervisor states AOS packet approved

March 27: DS260 & Supporting Documents submitted

April 18: False checklist for IV Packet

May 4: Checklist requesting proof of eligibility (passport or BC). Wrote a nasty note back with a passport attached since they already had both as its part of the IV Packet duh

May 13: NVC Approval Email

Embassy

May 16: Interview Scheduled June 25th

May 28: Medical Exam Completed

June 25: Interview Montreal
