Medical Examination Fees:

15 and over - £227

14 and under - £105

Additional fees may apply if further tests are required. Fees are payable at the time of the medical examination. The fees are payable in cash or by credit card, Visa and MasterCard only, and debit card.

You also have to pay $240 for the visa fee before you go to the embassy for the interview.

Yes, and shipping your things over, marriage license...it goes on and on. I kept a spreadsheet of everything immigration related that we spent from start to US citizenship. The total is in my signature. The parts paid in pounds converted fairly high because at the time the exchange rate was close to 2 USD for every 1 GBP. Shipping was a good chunk. We had no legal fees thanks to all the help on VJ.

I really don't want to even know what my total will be. It adds up so quickly, it's just easier for me personally, to just know what the major costs are, and pay for things like postage or printing photos or other less significant costs as they come up.

I know in the end, it's all worth it, just don't want to know the exact total
