It says to attach, but when I emailed the consulate about what to include in the packet that we mail off to them, here is the response I got:

Yes, she must return DS 230 part 1, Ds 156 and 157 in duplicate, DS 156K without the signature, and the applicant’s statement signed (is the second page in the information packet).

She must bring the rest of the documents the interview day

So do we include all of the letters of intent to marry, I-134 and its supporting evidence, etc? Maybe it's the wording that is throwing me off, but it seems as though we don't include it until the interview even though the actual form says to attach...

Can anyone shed some light? thanks a ton

Ok I believe I found the info needed. Wish there was a way to delete posts but oh well...

To anyone else looking for this info, DOUBLE CHECK, but based on what I found,

1) Although it's not very clear, don't include and supoorting documents with the DS-156K, bring them to the interview

2) Same goes with the passport photos, bring to the interview

Hi, I have read your posts and wanted to let you know what I did when our petition was at the embassy stage in Madrid. I filled out the following forms: DS-230 I, DS-156 (two copies), DS-157 (two copies) and DS-156K (two copies not signed). I wasn't sure if I had to send this last form, but I send it anyway just in case. The day of the interview I brought all the other documents and also copies of all the forms I had already sent (they didn't ask for them, but I wanted to be sure I wasn't missing anything).

So your fiancée just needs to send the forms. She will get an appointment for her interview once they receive them. And then bring all the rest of the stuff the day of the interview. I also brought more proofs of relationship just in case but they never asked for them.

Good luck!

Hi we just had our interview as well and had the same questions at the time. You are right we brought the following to the interview :the Affidavit of Support I134 , evidence of support like tax transcript , employment letter , pay stubs , additional evidence (pics, chats, emails, flights etc.) , birth certificate, police reports , and DS 230 part II you have to bring with u. Also don't forget to bring your original submission copies as well just in case.

On your question about gluing the pictures, My fiance got 6 passport pictures in total , he did not glue anything just bring 3 to the medical appointment and we brought three to the interview but were only asked for 2 at the interview. Hope this helps and Good Luck :) and Just as Matt and Maya said don't sign the forms that they indicate not to sign.
