Ok I'm sorry for reposting something but we are ready to mail off packet 3 tomorrow and this is the one thing I'm not sure of.

I live with my father, and was planning on renting his house from him because he was moving into a nice condo. That is the address we have put all along as where we are going to leave upon her arrival here.

However, the plan has possibly changed, and I have reserved an apartment with a move in date of May 10 (she should have her interview before that) to make sure we had a nice one in the complex that I like, but I have NOT signed a lease and it's not a sure thing that we won't go with the original plan.

My question is, should we inform them of this during the interview or put this as our address in the DS-156, etc?

Again, I have not signed a lease and it's not 100% that we'll live there, but I think that will be the case. Is it something I should just take care once she's here and a simple thing to do?

Thanks all

If you do not live there, there is no point in putting that address on the forms. Use the address you currently live at. Do not complicate the matter because you " might live somewhere but have not signed anything ".

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

ok cool That's what common sense was telling me, and what i was hoping to hear, but I didn't want be deceitful.

However, what happens if her interview is say, May 11th, and I had moved in to the new place on May 10th...should we still just wait til she gets here to change the address officially or...what?

Put the new address on the AOS forums when you file.
