UPDATE: They cashed the check today! Now Im hoping that the next thing Im waiting for is the letter of acceptance to come in the mail by the 11th at the latest. Yay.

Sounds like everything is right on track. When you get your notification, please do create a timeline and keep it updated. Lots of us watch timelines and the more people who fill one out and keep it updated, the more accurate it will be for future VJers. cool.gif

July 28, 2012 - Engaged April 17, 2014 - Acceptance email arrived stating case forwarded to NBC March 23, 2016 - NOA1 Date (received March 28)

February 5, 2013 - Mailed I-129F to Lewisville, TX April 27, 2014 - Received letter for Biometrics appointment April 20, 2016 - Biometrics scheduled (incomplete due to dry cracked skin)

February 6, 2013 - USPS Receipt/Delivered I-129F April 28, 2014 - Received Acceptance NOA1 hard copies for AOS and EAD May 13, 2016 - Walk in Biometrics Completed

I mailed ours off on 4/1/13 as well... I included the G-1145 form. It was received per USPS on 4/3 but, I just received the email yesterday 4/8 (I never got a text) and it indicates I should receive the hard copy NOA1 within 7-10 days. Hope that helps, we're in the same boat but, don't fret... it's on the way. Good Luck!

Okay, Thank you for the post. I have a receipt number but I do not know if they will use the same one on the returned visa petition. So I will wait till I get a postal notice or email one. Im assuming if they cashed the check it is moving forward.

I thought I would hear from them within 10 days so its good I see the check was cashed and I gather I will hear from them soon. They said to call them if I havent ..on the 11th.

March 16, 2010 - Visit for the 1st time... for 6 weeks.
When he came here for the first time to meet in person he placed the ring on my finger himself.
April 17, 2012 - Visit for the 2nd time... for almost 3 1/2 weeks.
April 1, 2013 - Mailed I-129F to Dallas, TX
April 3, 2013 - USPS Receipt/Delivered I-129F
April 9, 2013 - Bank shows check cashed today.
April 9, 2013 Received a Text and Email Message that Petition is being sent to Vermont for Processing and will get hard copy within 7 to 10 days.

April - I have to look up the date to update this.

July 10, 2013 - Received 2 emails that our file was transferred. On July 10, 2013, we transferred this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E) to another office for processing because they now have jurisdiction over the case. We sent you a notice of this transfer. ***Waiting to hear more!**** Then a few days later I received another email and a text and a few days after that I got a hard copy. I will edit the dates tomorrow.

He visited. He had his medical, etc.

05/11/2015 - Green card IN PRODUCTION!!!!

I remailed my Fiance Visa Petition I-129F with all of the supporting document and a check on April 1, 2013. [Priority Mail to Dallas, TX]

I know you must wait up to 10 days to hear back from them. My question is I supplied an email address and a cell phone number for a text notice.... and want to know..

Does anyone know if the email and/or text notification comes any faster than when they also send the postal mail one? Or will the notifications come at the same time?? All I want to know is if the lock box received it and

I assumed the paper stating to email/text me that I would hear something sooner than the 10 day postal mail.

I just got my text message and email a few ago.... I think... this is good news????? Any comments? Your case has been accepted and routed to the USCIS Vermont Service Center for processing. Within 7-10 days by standard mail you will receive your official Receipt Notice

I was sure I had a reply to you. Thank you for your support and Good Luck to you as well. I have to figure how to add the info on the bottom to keep people informed of the status.

They gave me a new receipt number. They cashed my check. I got the email and text notice now waiting for the hard copy and part of my email said this: Your case has been accepted and routed to the USCIS Vermont Service Center for processing. Within 7-10 days by standard mail you will receive your official Receipt Notice "So Im hoping this is good news!" :)
