Would it be worth changing to to CSC instead of the Texas one?

If yor recipt number begins with WAC then yes, I assume it does since you list yor local office as Sacramento. Texas service center has nothing to do with your petition processing.

You can see on NOA1 where it came from. When you update your timeline according to that, you can follow estimated processing times and it also helps all of VJ members for statistics.

If yoiu have to wait a year for K-1 is ridiculous. Why don't you return and just get married, refile less steps.
