I am currently a student and I will be receiving my 4 year college degree at the end of this year to be exact (December 2013). I plan on getting my job next year so that by the time the interview comes up I can prove I have enough money to support. Will I need to present years back of W2's or will check stubs suffice? If so about how many? I know I will need a letter of my employer, what else do I need? Has anybody had any experience with this? Please Help!

W2s are required if you are using tax returns instead of tax transcripts. Just order the transcripts from IRS online or by phone and you wont need to use W2s.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

I have been a student all this time, I haven't had stable jobs in the past before. I appreciate your help but my question is what are the alternatives for W 2's since I'd be just beginning a new job. Anything would help. :)

a letter from your employer, when you get a job stating your hire date and annual salary...you may need a co sponsor..because they don't base your ability to provide support on future earnings but on past and current earnings

don't think past earning are important just current or future earnings, are you sure about this?

They want to see consistency in your potential to provide support, which is why they request three years worth of tax returns. Of course future earnings are important I didn't mean to suggest that they would ignore your potential earnings it's just difficult to document what you haven't earned yet.
