Hi VJ!

I just finished my medical today after waiting for the result of my Sputum Culture. I was calling the USEM to schedule for my interview but i cant go through it because of the fact that i did cancel K1 Visa interview schedule 3 times. The call center agent said that she needs to make a report regarding my case to the USEM and wait for the result.

Please help me on this matter. Im here now in Manila just to wait for my interview but i cant go through it. What would be the possible effect for cancelling 3 times the interview. Would it affect my K1 Visa?

What happened was for first 2 cancellations i applied online and i mistakenly click the date for 2 times and the third cancellation was because of my medical that i need to go a Sputum Test.

Would this mean disqualification or do i need to pay another at BPI sot hat i can make a schedule?

Please i need your thoughts on this. Thank you!

"Applicants are only allowed to reschedule twice (not including the initial appointment) without penalty. If the second rescheduling attempt is canceled, an applicant will only be allowed to reschedule a new date after a waiting period of 90 days." Read Restrictions to Changing Appointments

At this point you have no choice but to wait and see what the USEM will do in your case. Keep us updated. Good Luck

I'm crying now because my medical is valid for 3 months only and if i have to do medical again i will have to do another sputum test again and i will wait for another 2 months for the sputum culture. If worse comes to worst maybe my fiance will give up on me already.

I did not know about this before that there is a limit. With the hindrances that me and my Fiance are having in our journey i almost want to give up. waste of time and waste of money already.

but still God has His reasons why sometimes there are delays. I want to be still hopeful because we have a son. He badly needs us to be there because he is alone in his house and i love him so much. he is not rich but money to me is not important what matters is we get along very well and he loves me and respects me.

Sorry if i got so emotional but i really wnated to be with my Fiance the soonest.

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

I love Pinay drama... he he. Relax and take a deep breathe. Everything will work out just fine. Make sure you explain during your interview why you missed the first couple, I've heard it is a bad mark against you and you want to make sure they don't think it was relationship problems. Also in the future never miss an appointment with the US government, I told my fiance if she didn't have medical done or Cenomar which is what she waited for the last day until she got she should go to interview either way. It is always best with our government to go unprepared and ask to come back then to not show up. You might have to pay the fee again from what I've seen after 2 cancelled appointments, hopefully it will work out for you quickly a don't think negative about stopping the process if you have a child you can't even consider that.

1st! Relax, keep calm.

You need to hear from the embassy as to whether they will; 1) waiver the 90 day waiting period (which I am strongly betting they will because of it be SLEC causing the delay), 2) whether they will waiver the additional $240 visa and let you re-schedule anyway.

Its all guessing until you talk with the embassy and get answers.
