(i'm feeling lazy, lol)

Because mine was so long as well as my whatsapp I printed facebook IM by adding to a word doc and taking out all the stupid silly links and shared photos. I think mine was ummm 21 pages. I stapled it together and it was actually in my I-130 packet as proof, along with all the cards, receipts, photos, and notarized affidavits from family and 3 co-workers (all licensed psychologists, I swear that is the ONLY reason we got NOA2 in 39days!).

Hi everyone, I did read the first two posts and think they are extremely helpful. Thank you so much Saylin and everyone else for posting this. I do have two questions though,

1) I cant log into the payment portal. Yes, I read the FAQs and know this is good news, I was excited all day yesterday that I would finally be getting this show on the road. However, now that I still cant get on, I was just wondering how long it takes to be invoiced? Does it typically take more than a day?

2) About the DS3032. I know theyre going to send one regardless, so if we sent the email, we can pretty much just wait for acceptance. Does it affect your case in any way if you DO sent another one in before getting the acceptance email.

10/10/07 - I-129F sent to VSC

04/30/08 - POE Newark

07/06/08 - Wedding..... I'm Married Yall!!!

4/08/13 - Emailed ds3032 template

4/09/13 - NVC case number and IIN number generated

I've not used that messenger, so not sure how to print, but as for how many pages, I'd suggest taking a conversation from each month and just sending that. You don't need to send every single conversation for every single day. They just want to see a constant communication between the two of you. You can print everything though and bring it to the interview, in case they want to see more.

1. Yes, it can take more than a day. Just to be sure, you're only using IE to sign in, right?

2. Nope, doesn't affect your case (as far as I've seen) if you send in more than 1. But it's best to wait until they respond to the initial DS-3032 email before sending them another one. Unless it's been like 2 weeks with no response, then you can use the trick in the FAQ and send another one.

hi guys..question: now that we already paid for the AOS and still waiting for a reply on the DS3032 which we emailed..i have somewhat already prepared my I864 and I864a..will they be sending out a newer I864 form or can i just use the one that i have already prepared?

NVC doesn't send you forms. They just send you links on where to get the forms. As long as you're using the 9/19/11 edition, you're fine (http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/menuitem.5af9bb95919f35e66f614176543f6d1a/?vgnextoid=b70f8875d714d010VgnVCM10000048f3d6a1RCRD&vgnextchannel=db029c7755cb9010VgnVCM10000045f3d6a1RCRD ).

You can use the one you have but I would make sure it has 2012 tax info on it at this point. Normally if you have a joint sponsor you both fill out an I-864 unless a sponsor needs supplementary income from a dependent in their household to meet the guidelines. Just wondering why you have the I-864a?

So it looks as if I'm making good time comparatively on getting my case to NVC.

Approved 17 days ago, received yesterday, still not entered.

I assume now that I just keep calling until I get a case number right?

It's after that point that I'm just not processing what happens after I get the case number.

The shortcut page says that after I get the case number, I call back AGAIN and ask to give an email address?

Just curious why I can't do it right then? Why do I have to call back...

It's between steps 5 and 6 that reading becomes overwhelming and I'm not understanding.

Once I give an email address, do I get like an email that says I can go pay bills?

I'm also not understanding the IIN number.

Is that for entering into when I go pay the bill? I guess that would make sense?

But then I'm not understanding when the choice of agent form gets turned in.

I was doing really well on all of this but every time I read it again it makes less sense.

My AOS has already been accepted at NVC so would it even matter now?

Okay, for Canadians, NVC goes as follows:

1. Once the case number is assigned, on the SAME call, do the following: get the case number, get the IIN, get the BIN, give over both email addresses

2. Send the optin email (if you wish to do EP)

3. Try logging onto the payment portal, once you can, pay the AOS bill

3. Try logging onto the online forms portal, once you can, fill out the DS-261

4. Once the IV bill has been invoiced (based on acceptance of DS-261), pay the IV bill

5. Once AOS is showing as paid and optin email has been accepted, send the AOS package

6. Once IV is showing as paid and optin email has been accepted, send the IV package and fill out the DS-260 online

7. Respond to any checklists

Since you're going through online forms (and possibly EP if you sign up for it), I suggest you disregard the other guides and just read mine as mine's specific for Canada.

I have a question about taxes and the interview. I just filed my 2012 taxes and I don't meet the requirement. Will I need to get a sponsor at the interview stage??

Thanks guys.

Just because the AOS is accepted at NVC does NOT mean it will be accepted at the embassy. If you're not making enough for 2012, then you'll need a sponsor. Try to find one now and get all the documents gathered before the interview.

If the AOS bill has been paid, yes you can send in the AOS package. Please make sure you're sending everything that's needed.
