Yeah I think you're right. I will be better off not calling everyday. Even if my case is completed in the next week or two there's still the whole issue with no 2013 CR1's on the interview schedule for Turkey.

thats the same in cairo embassy although they make interviews for cro2013 cases but for a reason they r not mentioned in the embassy website

Question. I didn't front load during USCIS and reading from Darnell and other posters I have learned that we can front load again during NVC. Yes I've heard that we can bring evidence to the interview, but from majority of the posters, they don't review it thoroughly and have made up their mind before the interview based on the evidence. Thus, it's beneficial to send up front and have them review before hand.

My question is this, do I need to send a photocopy of the additional evidence, or will one copy be enough. Phone call record from last this to today are 70+ pages double sided.

Congrats!!!

I front loaded my I-130 and I also plan on front loading the IV package. My suggestion would be to send photocopies to NVC and take additional copies with you to the interview. I personally don't trust anyone NOT to lose my documents and I'd rather not have to dig through everything and reprint it out again if that happened.

As for the phone records, there is no need to send 70 pages. Pick a few with a range of dates and send those. I'd say no more than 10 pages worth. My husband and I have known each other for more than 4 years. If we sent in everything, it would have been thousands of pages worth of calls. I sent in about 20-25 showing a range of dates and planning on doing the same with the IV package showing dates since the I-130 was sent. Have you taken any trips to India since you sent your I-130? Attach that information as well including any pictures. In addition to phone records, attach anything else that shows proof of an ongoing relationship.

I am the petitioner.

I think you are the first Atlanta Field Office approval since the workload transfer are you not?

Hopefully we’ll see lots more jumping over to this thread!

No trips since I-130 due to School and Full time work. Schools done in June (woohoo masters) and I plan on going to get her and bring her with me. We chat via Skype, whatsapp and phone everyday. I have taken screenshots of Skype with my wife and I. In addition to that, my pension, 401k and life insurance showing my wife as sole beneficiary.

This was probably asked in different threads, but it's kinda lazy Monday over here, and I know you guys would know this right of the bat...

With visa in hand, how much time does one have to enter the US? 1 year?

I am planing to bring mom here in late December of this year, so in case she gets visa before mid June, I hope the time-frame for entering is not 6 months.

Hi everyone,

I love reading about your progress so it gives me a timeframe as to when ours will be approved (if everything goes well).

I m preparing all the documentation ready to be sent out whenever required, especially the I864 and have a question re this form: my husband is our main sponsor, he did not earn enough in the last 3 years so did not have to file taxes. He has written a letter explaining the matter, and we plan on sending relevant documentation W2 for 2010 and payslips for 2011 and 2012. My question is, will copies of those payslips be sufficient?

He actually worked in the UK in 2011 and 2012, is there anything else we should include with the payslips?

Also, my in laws are both co-sponsors, do we also need to provide originals for them (ie employment letter for my mother in law, bank statement for assets and retirement letter for my father in law) or will copies suffice?

Thanks for your help, as always!

:D

Generally once the DS 261 is accepted it takes NVC about a day or so to invoice the IV fee bill. When did you send the DS 261?

I think I found my answer. According to the Reciprocity Schedule

http://travel.state.gov/visa/fees/fees_5455.html?cid=8996

I-type visas for Bosnian citizens are valid for 12 months.

The 29th of March.

Give it another two days and if you haven't received an email acceptance by then re-send it, this time with SUPERVISOR REVIEW as the start of the subject line. There is a lot more information in the first two posts of the thread, I don't know if you've had a chance to take a look. Good luck!

The husband phoned the NVC this morning and our case is now complete :) they said that they are waiting for an appointment at the Bern (Switzerland) embassy, apparently the is only one appointment per month... does this sound right? If it is, that sucks :(
