Can someone please educate me what is the difference between the two in terms of speeding up the process?? Which is better and helpful most?? Does it help or not, specially writing a letter to the congressman or senator.

Also, when we filed our K1 we didn't put dates and captions on the pictures. Will we get an RFE cos of it?? replies will be highly appreciated, thank yousmile.gif

Hello, I "never" said we would do a service request already. I just asked "what is a service request" and what does it do to help people like me on my journey to K1 to speed things up.smile.gif

Do not look and count my timeline cos it'll only look hilarious once you realize that we're just about to be 5 months waiting in 2daystongue.gif. Someone already told me what an SR can do, I am more interested now about writing a letter to the senator or congressman. Maybe you can enlighten me on this one? Those who have experience writing a letter to their state senator or congressman maybe you can share your experience?? ideas? or anythingsmile.gif

There really isn't anything you can do at this point; contacting congressional representatives and filing service requests is for when there is an issue that you cannot resolve, such as being beyond listed processing times, overcoming an administrative error, etc.
