Previous visa denials/approvals and their impact on the K1 visa

I have read quite a few threads by posters which generally ask questions describing that previously they had applied for some kind of a tourist/student/business visa to the US and got denied, so does it impact on the current K1 visa application.

The answers generally mentioned that they do not have any impact on the current K1 visa application. Of course if the applicant had a previous US visa but had any overstays or had indulged in any illegal activities in the US while on that visa--that is a problem.

Now on the flip side, if the applicant had successfully applied for a previous US visa ---and did not overstay or generally had a "clean" visit to the USA-does it to any small extent have a bearing on the mind of the CO adjudicating the current K1 application? This question arises from my own personal situation as I had previously successfully applied for a 10 year multiple entry B1/B2 visa to the USA. So, to some extent I have some previous experience in dealing with a US consulate and an interview by a US consulate officer although for a completely different visa.

So, I was wondering if my previous application and successful attainment of a 10 year US visa does have any positive impact at all- at the time my K1 visa application is being adjudicated at the US embassy?

I would welcome the views and opinions of the members here.

Cheers.

If it was due to you not being eligible to use the VWP there may well be issues.
