Last night I emailed the USCIS ombudsman about my concerns regarding the processing times at CSC and my pending case.

This morning, I received the same response that someone else posted on visajourney yesterday: The processing time at CSC has slipped due to other processing priorities, but they are currently moving resources to the I-129f cases. As they do so, they anticipate the processing time to decrease. (My letter said not to copy and paste it, otherwise I would have posted it here)

Here is the ombudsman email: OLUInquiries@dhs.gov

I suggest everyone write to them. No matter if you just received your NOA1 last week, or if you have been waiting months. It takes 5 minutes to write a couple of sentences about your concern regarding the processing times for K-1 fiance visas at CSC.

It seems they are finally doing something about it, and if we keep the pressure on, maybe they will realize just how bad it has gotten.

Hi congrats on your NOA2 i am happy for you and to see that RFEs are being processed in a timely manner.

As for me it's been 16 days already and.till nothing... With the holidays and their "pumbing issue" i wasn't expecting anything last week but i was hoping it would be more in between 7-15 days. I am getting anxious.

If i have nothing at day 31 i call back my congressman's immigration liaison as they told me to if i didn't get an answer... Getting tired of the wait

Thanks dear and you should be hearing something soon. .. as your congressman said call them back and find out what's taking them so long. Have u received a Message from uscis about rfe that they got your rfe respond back?

I haven't had anything yet. Still under initial review.

My congressman's office told me i should hear an answer within 30 days so form initial review to noa2 or rfe(it was 17 days ago now) but honestly with all the BS going on at CSC right now and the fact that people with an adjudicator took less than that to receive an answer makes me anxious...

Why do i have to be unlucky and i got the slow adjudicator or maybe he put my petition back in a box (that got flooded)
