AOS sent certified mail

Hi all:

I sent AOS package to NVC via certified mail and it arrived @ NVC on a Saturday. I tracked usps it said business closed saturday and left notice there. I'm wondering if NVC responds to notice by filling out form for redelivery or NVC will pick it up ( I doubted). Has this happened to anyone, how did it turn out? Is package coming back to me if NVC not responding to usps notice within 15 days? I'm very worried now :wacko: I should have sent just first class or over night, should have not sent certified mail. :help:

11-16-12: Sent I-130 for Dad.
11-19-12: Priority date/rec'd date.
02-06-13: Case approved, NOA2.
02-19-13: NVC received case.
03-08-13: Case # assigned--HCM2013******.
03-09-13: Paid AOS Fee $88.00.
03-09-13: Emailed DS-3032 from Beneficiary's email address.
03-13-13: AOS Fee showed as PAID & sent AOS package certified mail.
03-18-13: AOS package delivered @ 10:50 A.M.
03-18-13: DS-3032 accepted.
03-20-13: IV Bill Invoice.
03-21-13: Paid IV Fee $230.00.
03-23-13: IV Fee showed as PAID.
04-23-13: Sent IV package certified mail.
04-26-13: IV package delivered @ 11:13 A.M.

05-08-13: Case completed @ NVC per telephone call.

05-15-15: Case completed per email from NVC.

06-07-13: Rec'd email from NVC RE: interview date. (letter dated 06-05-13).

07-18-13: Interview date-- PASSED.

I don't think you have much to worry about. I sent by certified mail too and received my texts 3 weeks later

RFE reply 8/3/12

NVC left 8/29/12
Manila Embassy received 9/5/12
Visa appointment & approval 9/7/12

This is a regular occurrence. Don't worry someone Monday will get it. Sometimes they sign on saturdays sometimes they don't don't worry.

If you signed up for text and email you will receive it usually in a few weeks. If not then wait for the mail.

USPS will deliver it on Monday. Don't worry about it.

My IV packets were supposed to be delivered on Monday but for some reason USPS attempted to deliver it on Saturday ( 2 days before). It was successfully received by NVC on Monday.
