I was there for naturalization interviews and I have passed the tests of English history and gov and English language . But Thy said they can't make yet the decision for application n 400 . So do u think it will b proved and how long I have to wait

did they say anything to you about that why desicion can not be made now? you applied based on marrige 3 years or normal lpr 5 year??did you bring any minus document?how was it done?

I applied based on marriage 3 years,,,,,they said we will work out on n400....thay gave me a document ,,,they wrote your English , government and history test is passed and cannot made application decision yet,,,I checked online and they posted today that they need more evidence from me .

#######.. it is crazy.. are they wanting more evidence from you... what kind a more document do they want from you? when you went to the interview .. which document did you bring? and are these original??

Did they specify at the interview what documents you needed? Also do you get a RFE at the time of interview or do you have to wait for them send it out in the mail?

We heard rumors about IO's asking for a joint utility bill, not even mentioned as a form of evidence, but my wife surprised her IO by having one of those. Joint tax returns, property tax bill, put her name on my home deed, joint bank accounts, joint vehicle ownership, joint life, home, and auto insurance, even joint ownership of a AKC registered dog. So why a completely worthless joint utility bill? Could slap any name on that, they don't care.

So you can run into stuff like this and with our darn luck, got two IO's that couldn't even speak English. Proof again, I am a US citizen, we were both free to marry with our divorce papers again, and did have a valid marriage certificate, but her expired and renewed passports to verify her trips abroad. Latest evidence requires is only three years of tax returns, but only dealing with one hard headed IO. Made this comment many times before, only certifying agency where you are NOT dealing with a board, just one individual, one supervisor, and one office manager. With only one of those that actually makes personal contact with you. And not the spouse either, just the applicant.

Both were of races well known not to like Hispanics, that could be the reason, but didn't go into that. Just let my senator handle that phase of it. This may also be your problem, but your IO should of told you what additional evidence you needed. Never argue, have to be overly nice. Least my wife and stepdaughter did have medical training in dealing with psychotic people. Darn receptionist couldn't speak English either, I talked to her like I would speak to my one year old grandchild.

I had all the documents present during the interview like tax returns , marriage certificate , joint accounts , ulity bills , lease signed . I didn't get the mail yet so I just read online they they will make me what other evidence thy need

i just do not understand .. why they did like that..goal!! did you bring to interview your wifes or husband original birth certificate?? i mean why they said to you we can not desicion made now and look at this pinkcat.. he or she says like that .. she got same stiuation...where are you goal and pinkycat??

I checked online and they update that they received the evidence they needed ..and now they will make the decision and if they need more evidence they will ask for it ..

Waiting can be hell, right? In theory at least, no IO can make a decision at this time, has to be approved by the supervisor in the same field office. You may even get an oath letter. If you seemed to have passed everything else is appropriate to politely ask that field office's oath policy.

Our field office doesn't even post on that case status site, and the USCIS is not required to respond for up to 120 days from your interview.

Wife petitioned for her son over five years ago, we gave up on looking at the case status site around four years ago. Been known to drive people insane.

On the interview they told me that they can't make decision later on they update the status that they need more evidence and now they updated that they already received the evidence ..I havent got any of the mail from them and don't know what documents they need ...and I haven't send any of the documents from my side..dntv know where they got the evidence from ?
