CSC your a disgrace!

Well my USC fiance just called CSC to see if he could expadite our I-129F petition. He asked and then was asked why by the operator. He explained how we had been told at 5 months of waiting to call back in two weeks and we did and called again when we were asked to. She told him they were still working on July 18th and nothing they could do. He asked to speak to a supervisor or Tier 2 person and she hung up on him! Shame on you California! I am disgusted!

You can't really blame any specific service center for what the operators on the phone do. These operators are contracted to USCIS to answer questions as generically as possible. I think definitely shame on the operator for hanging up (assuming of course there was no reason to do so), but CSC isn't to blame for that.

On the good news front though, CSC has recently transferred some of their caseload to Texas. VSC did this last month and they began churning out applications pretty well shortly thereafter, so hopefully this is a sign that California is about to get back on track again

There was no reason to hang up. I was on Skype with him while he made the call. She hung up when he asked to speak with a supervisor or tier 2. That was the end of the conversation.

I sincerely hope CSC gets back on track soon but in the meantime, my fiance will be writing a letter to try get the case expadited seeing as you correctly put it, USCIS operator hung up on him.

Sorry if I wasn't clear, I was just stating that I assumed there was no reason for them to hang up, and not meaning to insinuate that there was (only that I wasn't there, so I am going completely by what you are saying)

Best of luck to you. Not sure if you will get expedited or not, but I think that the news of them transferring DACA and other cases out of California should mean that they start actively working I-129F and I-130 again and get us all a little closer to the approvals we both desire and deserve

You should write down the person's name and ID number when you start talking to them. I've reported several customer service reps on the USCIS info line about their rudeness, combativeness, and absolutely false information that they've given out. I wish others would do the same, maybe they wouldn't get away with it.

Who knows, maybe CSC will get to our file before they get the letter but if they don't, atleast we will be trying to do something about the insufferable wait before it gets too much longer.

I dont think that seven months qualifies for insufferable waiting even though it is starting to be a long time it really isnt. Try waiting over a year and you will know the true meaning of insuffereable. I hope the best but we all have to wait our turn in this madness however painfull it might be.
