Hello again everybody! I have another question. So as for the affidavit of support, I would initially need to have a co-sponsor because I do not make enough money here in Spain HOWEVER, by the time the interview comes along, I will have moved back to the States and my fiance will be here. 1.) Do I need to notify anybody when I'm back in the U.S. even though they already have my U.S. residence as the mailing address? 2.) If I recently started working at a new job, and it wasn't on the initial application, does that look bad? Especially since it's back in the States? 3.) If I do not make nearly enough money what does the co-sponsor have to fill out? I don't understand why I would need to fill out anything if I don't make enough money. Thank you all so much for your help!

1. No unless you would now be using a different address that USCIS would/could send documents to.

2. No, people are always changing / starting new jobs.

3. You always would fill out a 134 form (used for the 129 petition) or a 864 form (used at AOS) as well as any cosponsor you would need to use, they fill out the same forms. Yours would show little or no income and theirs would show income above the required poverty level.

Phil (Lockport, near Chicago) and Alla (Lobnya, near Moscow)

As of Dec 7, 2009, now Zero miles apart (literally)!

the petitioner is always the main sponsor, no matter what your income is. Your income in Spain would never be counted because you will be living in the US and you will no longer be working there. You need to have proof of US domicile before you fiance will be issued his visa. Your post is very confusing. Where did you file? Did you look at the guides and flowcharts at the top of the page? The co sponsor will fill out the same forms you so for the affidavit of support
