Interview Preparations Questions Philippines

Finally after the struggles of paper work misplaced I got through USCIS and NVC was a lot smoother have to say.

I received the letter today that the interview is scheduled for April 4th 2013.

I have a question my wife already has duplicates of everything since I made sure to pull doubles for me and her of all her original paper work. Going to email my Package of support copy that I sent to NVC since that's the last thing missing.

Do I trust the letter that all the original documents are coded and accepted as original or she should bring hers also just in case?

Also all the bills are paid on USCIS and NVC should I worry about fees at interview is there any not listed ones?

How does the medical exam work how soon does it need to be done? wanting to know from other people that dealt with the Manila embassy to avoid surprises.

After the visa is issued & delivered to the applicant (beneficiary), the petitioner have to pay online an Immigrant Fee of $165. Please check link for more information: http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/menuitem.5af9bb95919f35e66f614176543f6d1a/?vgnextoid=3a2bb75e8109b310VgnVCM100000082ca60aRCRD&vgnextchannel=fe529c7755cb9010VgnVCM10000045f3d6a1RCRD

As for Medical examination, it can be done a week before the embassy interview. But others ( including me) have done it 3 or 4 weeks before the interview appointment.

For a detailed information about the medical examination please see link: http://www.slec.ph/us-visa-applicants.shtml#required-docs

SLEC recommends that applicants register online: http://www.slec.ph/us/registration/

She shd go with her copies just in case. She will get the originals back at interview but should remember to check for it in the file they will return to her.

let-it-be ios right. the only fee left is the $165 after the visa issuance. The medical exam fees are on you also and she can go for them even now. Go to your country's portal for specifics info on suc procedures and outcomes.

best wishes.

Nothing else she gonna pay only her medical i think its almost 10k pesos, and she have to bring original docs like NBI,BC,MC and some docs like chatlogs and call logs, proofs of financial support, latest ITR could just copy for her interview. For medical 1 week before her interview is good so she could relax and ready her self for the interview  Good luck!

Can we pay for the medical fee online? Or the beneficiay has to pay it in St. Lukes personally?

SLEC doesn't accept electronic payments. They only accept cash payments in (peso equivalent) which should be paid during the medical.good.gif
