GOOD DAY. im a july filer in vsc. we got rfe today. we dont know yet whats the lucking document but i just want to know, if we pass already the document they need how many weeks or months we need to wait for noa2?

It shouldn't take that long. Once you reply to the FRE and they received it you should be expecting your NOA2 in less in less than 2 weeks. In some cases less than a week. Good luck.

OP, I agree it depends on the kind of RFE(2 to 4weeks). Years ago, I helped a friend put together an answer to a RFE and it took exactly 21days for approval.

If you have an identical copy of the petition packet you sent in, you can look over it and compare to the checklist. 90% of the time, you would have an idea of what's missing. Let us know when you get the hard copy in the mail.

Depends on the document needed. 1 to 4 weeks.. I got passport photo RFE and it only took a week.

Forumluker, what was the issue with the passport photo? Was it just left out or something different?

I think they don't accept the passport photo that I send with my I-130 because I got it from CVS and CVS gave me an uncut passport photo.

It was like a 2 2x2 photo inside a 4x6 print. That's the only reason I can think of.
