hi vj members. i would like to know about vj members who sent out their 1-751 package to the VSC and how long after receiving their extension letter that they received their appointment letter for their fingerprints. one member said it takes about 2 weeks to one month before receiving their appointment letter for their fingerprints for ROC. i also read about members who sent out their ROC package to the calfornia service center and they received their appointment for their fingerprints 5 days after they had received their extension letter. i shouldn't be nervious but i am now. my reminder notice went to my old address but my extension letter went to my new address. is this about right, it takes about two weeks to a month before receiving the appointment notice for the fingerprints for ROC. why are some members who sent out their package to the csc get the fingerprints notice faster than the members who sent their roc package to the vsc. any replys would be welcome. thank you all the vj members.

It looks like USCIS have not yet updated your change of address and hence the reminder, which is sent automatically went to the old address. However USCIS will send all post the I-751 correspondence to the Mailing Address provided in the I-751. So your bio-metric letter will go to the same address given in I-751.

Currently CSC is faster than VSC - may be VSC will be faster in 3 - 4 months.

I think it's totally up to your local ASC office, not a CSC nor VSC.

If your local office has not a slot for your appointment right away, it will take longer to get it.

This makes sense - since local ASC needs initial communication from CSC or VSC, probably it a combination of both factors.
