Do I really need an employer letter? We are getting a K1, and I was wondering if I could just send in 2 years of pay stubs. The employer letter is such a pain.

Why is it a pain?

You could be perfeclyt fine with just paystubs... but it depends of the embassy, and the CO. And honnestly, I wouldn't risk it. Even if it is a pain, I believe AP is a greater pain than whatever stupid paper we have to ask for before the interview.

Good luck in your visa journey!

From the day we sent I-129F to the day I recieved my K-1: Exactly 9 months

I did not had an employment letter with me when I had my interview.. My husband then fiancè also said it's a pain to get them from his company so i took the risk and luckily didn't had problems and was not asked but like hcook said it depends on the CO..

Thank you. I think I know I quick way to get a letter. You see I work for the Government and as we all know getting anything from them will be slow. I can print as many pay stubs as I need however.
