For clarification....All documents do need to be translated into English:

Any foreignlanguage document must be accompanied by a full English translation that thetranslator has certified as complete and correct, and by the translator'scertification that he or she is competent to translate the foreign languageinto English.

When we were at the US Embassy in Teguc, they did not care to see the translations, but you must first make it through all of the processing in the US, like the VSC and the NVC, before your documents are ever sent to the US Embassy. So, English translations must be included.

I have gone through the process of the NVC .. My interview is march 19.. But im worried about translating the documents since i dont live on a big city.. And there is no government office here. Even though i dint think the birth certificates need to be translated since at the embassy everyone speaks spanish aswell. I dont know what to do and i dont have much time left!!

I did all the process in honduras too, and I never send any translations of birth certificate or nothing in english! Most of the officers at the embassy understand spanish (at least the essencials) and they obviously have their own system to identify real to fake documentation. I think thats optional. Even if you decide to have them translate in english they got to be traslated in the US, because as far as I know there is no legal office that offers that service in hnd.
