NVC Filers - March 2013

I did that in my case, Saylin, and USCIS was still saying they didn't know where it was, and putting in service requests to boot, three days after the date the file was actually sent to NVC.

HI I just called USCIS and a Tier 2 told me exactly the same what email says after asking a service request. She told me to wait after 30 days because my cases are being process. When the process is done, they will send the cases to NVC.

SO MY CASES ARE THERE AND I DON'T KNOW WHAT THAT PROCESS IS. She said it takes time and tell me to wait.

Any advices guys????/ Thank you very much for your help!!!

The online portal was working for me, but now it says:

"You cannot make online payments for your case at this time. Please contact the NVC if you have questions or need further information."

What does that mean?

a new invoice for something, is churning in the background. When that churning is finished, you'll be allowed access again.

I-130 approval on 1 FEB 2013? are you certain the casefile is not still sitting at a local office? Do you know yer local office?

Something's fishy. I suggest you call back, get an ISO again, and ask for the date that the casefile left the local office. They do have that info, if it's left the local USCIS office. If they can't see it, then it hasn't left the USCIS local office yet.

I will call all the expensive lines I need to! Haha! Thanks for that info! Do you know where I can find that number? Or will it be provided once I'm assigned an interview date? Here's hoping I can do that

Once the interview date is set, is also possible to change it, requesting the change VIA EMAIL into the IV unit. Not 100 percent gauranteed to work, but sometimes, yes.

My NO2 was on 02/01/2013

NVC still don't have my cases.(calling everyday)))))

I asked a service request on 3/12 and it said wait 30 days before contact NVC.

SHOULD I CONTINUE TO WAIT OR WRITE A LETTER TO MY SENATOR?????

PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!! ANY ADVICES WOULD BE APPRECIATED!!!!!!

At this stage, you should contact yer senator's office, use a telephone, call in, ask for the Immigration Liason Staffer Person. Also find the senator's web page, find the release form, and get it out to that ILS human via email, along with your request for congressional inquiry to the location of the casefile.

YAY! My expedite request was received by NVC yesterday (thanks to my congressman) and forwarded to the Cairo Embassy yesterday as well! I hope Cairo accepts it soon! I can feel it getting closer and closer to the interview :) alhamduallah :dance:

Need? No.

It is recommended, though. For example, all civil documents -write yer casefile # in pencil.

I wrote it in pencil on the upper corner of each document, just to be safe.
