hello, ladyfromfaraway, sorry your having a hard with that.it's not normal it could be that your application and interview is held up for further review.nothing you can do, but wait. in the mean time look at the forums on top of this page for citizenship you will see what other people are going through with citizenship and oath appointments.it can't be much longer, good luck,

hi,

Contact your US senator.

U can google the website on the US senator representing Illinois.

Go to their website-Search for Assistance for Immigration issues.(Note: Every Senator will have a section to assist those who seek help with regard to Immigration issues.)

I believe there is a form to be filled - some privacy disclosure statement. Mail the form the designated address. Include detail explanation and related correspondence documents with USCIS.

Your Senator will be able to help you to enquire about your case.

If not, find a lawyer and file a suit 'coz USCIS must make a decision on your case within certain period.

Good luck!

Ladyfromfaraway

I not read of you contacting an ISO with USCIS.

Please contact an ISO, and ask them to have a deep look on what's going on

and

ask the ISO to check if any returned postal mail on you, as well.

report back after that phone call.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Whoa Nelly ! Want NVC Info? see http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/NVC_Process

waiting on hold? with a telephone? COOL !

if not waiting on hold, and not using a telephone...

uhm... use a telephone, call in, ask for an ISO - to go over returned mail pieces.
