I received a text message on my cell phone stating i have to go online coz i got an update on my case status. So when i logged in to USCIS site and typed my receipt number this is what got ..

The top portion says Expect a 30-45-day delay between when your application or petition is filed and when your information is available in Case Status Online, depending on the volume of applications USCIS receives. Then head text of the box is

Your Current Case Status for Form CRI89, PETITION TO REMOVE CONDITIONS OF PERMANENT RESIDENT STATUS RECEIVED

Then Your Case Status On February 27, 2013, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283..

Now on top of this note there are 4 circles Acceptance, Initial Review, Decision and Post Decision Activity. None of the circle is highlighted. Last December 2012 when I checked my case it was on initial review already. Now none of the circle is highlighted.

Please enlighten me on this fellow VJers.

THANKS!

Typical. It's just telling you that the things are going slowly.

Unless you are approaching 1-year mark since your ROC receipt notice date, all you can do is WAIT.

thanks. im approaching 8 months.

Expect some updates soon if everything is normal.

If by the 10th mark still nothing, get hold of them and ask for a service request on updating the case. Hopefully you don't have to go through the whole process like I had to.

Good luck!

Navy,

Doun't you just wish they would get rid of the website--it causes nothing but grief. And in this case it got the OP so crazed he didn't even see that he was approved and his GC will be on the way shortly.

Oh my !!

Magical, eventhough the human error in updating the online details well throws some confusion (the poor guy looks like is still worried), it certainly helps majority to be at peace. I personally think it helps but I wish that it is updated more professionally.

I checked on my case status also, and it appeared the same statement as yours "Your Current Case Status for Form CRI89, PETITION TO REMOVE CONDITIONS OF PERMANENT RESIDENT STATUS RECEIVED

Then Your Case Status On February 27, 2013, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283"

Does that mean we have been approved? If so, how long does it take for the card to be in the mail?

Thanks
