I honestly just need some support with everything going on right now. We had to send out our packet 3 a little bit late but luckily they processed it all in the same day which shocked the ####### out of me but now I'm just overly stressed. I was planning to send out this packet earlier but we had to wait on my bank statements and my dad's bank statement and our work statements and now I'm a little less then 5 months away from my wedding and Montreal keeps having absolutely NO interview dates available. I just want him to be here in time and I'm freaking out, which I probably shouldn't be because it doesn't help, but I just feel like I have no support right now ): There's so much going on and I just wish I could schedule an interview.

although I wish you the best, time after time people are told both here in this forum, and at the consulate to never make plans until the visa in in hand. A least once a week we see people here upset because they made wedding plans and paid money for said weddings only to lose money and be disappointed. Good luck...

Well what we've already decided if it's really that bad is that we're going to have the ceremony we paid for but not sign any official documents, and then do a wedding at the courthouse when he moves here.

I am not expert but I really doubt that I will take 5 months for you to get an interview date and your visa. I know every embassy is different but my interview was scheduled a bit more than a month after I recieved and sent back packet 3.

From what I've been reading people are scheduling March interviews. Keep checking to see what opens up. Also, you can schedule your interview and if you see an earlier one pop up you can re-schedule. You should definitely have your visa in hand before your wedding, provided you are approved. Congratulations, and all the best!
