Can I come with my fiance to the interview?

Hello everyone :)

I wanted to know if anyone who has gone through the interview can let me know if you were able to go with your fiance to the interview inside the Madrid embassy? Thanks !!!

If the petitioner can attend the interview, I would encourage you to do so. As long-time member T-Bone has often said, it always helps to provide moral support, and is viewed as a positive thing by the CO, if the petitioner can attend, or be in the near vicinity. Some consulates, like Guangzhou, do NOT allow the petitioner to attend the interview. Yet, I still flew there, I gave my then-fiancee my passport with a "Evolution of Relationship" letter inserted in it, and asked her to give it to the CO at the start of the interview. The CO understood that I was there to support my partner. Not sure if it helped, but am sure it didn't hurt our case.
