Once again, I'm here requesting your assistance.

My wife had her interview in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico....and her visa was not granted because she was missing Affidavit of Support documents. Anyways, I have returned back to the US (California) beacuse I had to come back to work.

My question is this, can I send the Affidavit of Support documents directly to the consulate in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico OR do I send my wife the documents so she can mail them?

I'd rather send them directly from the US, that way would be a bit faster.

Can you please let me know based on your experience.

221g forms come with specific instructions on how to mail-in additional documents.

Read and follow what the form says.

My husband also had to send additional documents, he send them from mexico through dhl and they arrived the next day.

Ok, thank you. I will have my wife send them from Mexico via DHL.

So Chabela, when did your husband mail the additional forms? Have you heard back from Ciudad Juarez? Did he get the Visa already?

No he just mailed them last week, have not heard anything from them yet. That is also a question i would like to have a answer to, how long to hear from them? I guess we will just have to wait and hope it does not take long.
