Just got case approved at NVC, now waiting for the interview to be scheduled. Any recent IR1/CR1 approvals that got their interview date, how long did it take after your case complete? And, for what date did you get?

(for Philippines only)

Hi again, it just took NVC four days from the date of completion to email us and inform of March interview schedule.

Did you do a DCF in manila? if you did i just got my interview date. i am sending you what the embassy sent me.

there email address is: Manila IV Correspondence Unit <IVManilaReplies@state.gov You need to ask for your case number. i did not receive my packet 3 intel after i already made my appoint.

We received the I-130 visa petition from U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services office at Embassy Manila on November 27, 2012, and sent the applicant an Instruction Package for Immigrant Visa Applicants Formerly Packet 3).

The Packet 3 includes a Biographic Data Form (DS-230I), which the applicant should complete and return to the Immigrant Visa Unit of the Embassy immediately. When the applicant has all the required documents, she should complete the information on the Notification of Applicant Readiness Form (DS-2001), sign it, and return it to the Embassy's Immigrant Visa Unit immediately. This notifies the Embassy that the applicant is prepared for the immigrant visa interview.

The applicant may also download the Biographic Data Form or Application For

Immigrant Visa and Alien Registration (Form DS-230I) from our website at http://travel.state.gov/visa/frvi/forms/forms_1342.html.

Attached is a scanned copy of Form DS-2001.

The documentation may be sent to the Embassy's Immigrant Visa Branch (Attn: Operations Unit) by fax at (632)301-2037 or 301-2591, or as a scanned email attachment at IVManilaAttachments@state.gov with the applicant’s complete name, case number, and current contact information clearly indicated. thy also sent me this.

We received the Forms DS-230 and DS-2001, and updated our records of the case.

The applicant should visit this website: http://www.ustraveldocs.com/ph or contact the Embassy’s Visa Information and Appointment Service at (632) 982-5555 or (632) 902-8930 to schedule a visa interview date. The Visa Information and Appointment Service is open Mondays through Fridays from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. (Manila time) except on Philippine and U.S. holidays. Callers in the U.S. should call (214) 571-1600 between 8:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m. (Eastern Standard Time).

Callers should have the applicant’s case number, passport number, and passport expiry date ready when requesting a visa appointment.

The applicant should follow all interview preparation instructions for immigrant visa applicants located on the Embassy’s website at http://manila.usembassy.gov/wwwh3238.html. The instructions contained at the website will provide the applicant the required documentation and procedures to follow prior to the interview date.

Applicants are advised to have their medical examinations done at St. Luke’s Extension Clinic in Manila at least one week before their visa interview appointment at the U.S. Embassy. Applicants are encouraged to register online at the St. Luke’s website: www.slec.ph prior to their medical exam.

The applicant should compile all the required documents and complete the medical examination before the visa interview (when scheduled). Please note that the medical examination may take more than one day to complete

if you have any more questions I will be glad to help ..

Hello, just want to know if you did submit DS 2001? I was having the same question on my mind. Our case was completed at NVC last April 16,2013 but I haven't receive an interview appointment yet but all my documents for interview are ready. So I was wondering if the NVC is just waiting for my DS 2001 so they will send me an appointment letter. Thank you very much for your help.
