got an update. It says, On February 5, 2013, your Alien Registration Number was changed relating to your I129F, PETITION FOR FIANCE(E). Please check our website at www.uscis.gov for further updates on your case. Please wait until the end of normal processing time before calling customer service at 1-800-375-5283 for live assistance.

got our noa1 aug16,2012

my fiance actually tried to ask the customer rep. if it is possible to talk to a tier2. unfortunately, she just told my fiance "if i were you, just keep on calling us or give us a call by the end of this week.

after reading some topics about the sudden change, it made me kinda happy ( i suppose?) cos some k1's who had the same msg got approved post 1 week.

i will surrender everything to GOD! he exactly knows the desires of my heart

Ahhhhh i hope to hear a uber good news before my birthday...lol... my bday falls on the 19th. i wish i could have that priceless noa2.... any thougths about sudden change of status? (thou it is still on initial review) thanks!

I have the same status and read the same message when I checked the status of our application. I thought everyone had the same message or status.My fiance did not call to USCIS we are just waiting patiently but we did our best to give all the requirements needed and we even submitted more than the minimum requirements. Though I am very happy if that is the case. Good luck to all of us! God bless!

Ihave been reading replies here and all I have read are really heart warming.I checked the status of our application to make it sure that I have the same message in my application status and yes I have the same status as a matter of fact it is the same status after 2 weeks of receiving our NOA1. Today is the 17th day since we received NOA1 and it has the same message saying that my alien registration number had been changed in connection to I 129F application. If this is the case I am so grateful. God bless us!

You are a new petitioner and sorry to let your hopes down but actually everyone who recently petitioned has the alien registration changed update. Pretty much everyone and months after people arent getting approved. But for the people who have been waiting several months ..like 5 or 7 or whatever , when they get this, yes they normally get noa2, but not for the recent filers sadly..

i REALLY hope it is an approval.

just called yesterday, they told us to wait for their call on Wednesday. perhaps we will call them back again. lol cos the tier 1 could not even answer what it means... unfortunately monday wasn't the best time to talk to a tier 2, accdg to a tier1. lol

I am still grateful because it means that our case is being checked for whatever reason. What is important is that we submitted more than the minimum requirements needed. Good luck to all of us...

We have that update too after 4 days we have received the email notification for NOA1 last Feb 7. They say it is just a system glitch that even those who received that update months ago haven't receive their NOA2. But hopefully there's a good reason why we have that updates. Good luck to all of us!
