I know I'm probably jumping the gun on this one, but whatever. I received our NOA1 today with a priority date of January 29th, 2013. I went to check the case status on the uscis website, but it says my case cannot be found. Am I just being paranoid, or should I call?

And yes, before you say it, I've tried a few times to enter the case number. :P

I love a guy who looks like he could be on Criminal Minds as either an agent or a killer.

Give it about a week or at least a couple days

Relationship and I-130 Process

Sometime in October, 2011: We met online talking about Argentina.
Later in October: Met in person in Philadelphia and became good friends.
March 4, 2012: Became girlfriend and boyfriend, officially.
March 21: Gloria leaves the US at the end of her J-1 Visa.
April 9: Got engaged!
May 12-26: Chris visits Buenos Aires.
May 18: Got married in Argentina :) Happy day!!
May 29: Sent out I-130
June 4: NOA1 received.
August 17-20: Chris visits again.
September 22-29: Chris 3rd visit, Gloria's birthday!
November 11-January 5: Chris stays in Argentina almost 2 months, Gloria is happy!
December 28: NOA2 YAY!!!
December 31: Package received at NVC.
January 18, 2013: Got case # and IIN.
February 6: Case complete!!
February 11: Interview assigned.
February 25: Package received at Embassy in Buenos Aires.
March 18: Interview Approved!!
March 28: Visa received.
March 29: Houston POE

April 11: received greencard!!!!!!!

January 9, 2015: sent out form I-751

nah - it takes time, these casefiles hitting MSC.

Took me almost 2 months o waiting till it was available online for casefile status.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

But am I right in what I'm reading that these cases are moving fairly quickly once they get to the field office?

some don't get to local offices, staying at MSC.

Some that were 'filed from abroad' have been adjudicated at the MSC, not going to the local office.

But yes, in general terms, MSC has seemed faster.

Pray you not get assigned to Atlanta.

Hi there. My case did not show up, at all UNTIL the day it changed to approved. I checked it daily at first and then gave up finally after feeling disheartened every time it could not be found. (and that was for myself and my two children) Then one day, I decided to give it a try again and THERE IT WAS... but it was saying APPROVED! I just about lost my mind and honestly thought it must have been an error at first! :lol: So yours may or may not show up but do not fret!

USCIS - 40 DAYS
2012-10-30: FedEx delivered I-130 to Chicago Lockbox Mail Room
2012-11-01: NOA1 by email - MSC
2012-11-02: $420 (x3) debited from our account
2012-11-05: NOA1 hard copies received, Priority Date 2012-10-30

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

I applied Jan 28th 2013 and got a text Feb 2nd (at midnight!) with a case number. I just checked USCIS and it shows me at initial acceptance. Still have to receive my NOA1 snail mail.

I was being processed at MSC and it always said that even after I had my biometrics done and EAD/AP card mailed out. I filed my AOS in July of 2012 and was finally able to see what my case status was last month.
