I told Tony about you getting it yesterday, and he asked me if I could called. I told him I was hoping the USCIS site was being stupid and they'd already mailed it so I'll give it till Monday

BUT :) Today at 1:46pm I got a text msg saying my case had been updated :) And an email at 2:01pm saying they've sent my Oath letter :)

Thinking we might have the same ceremony! :D

I agree with Jamericanlove, it is possible that the ceremony will be Sep. 17th, i got my Oath letter last Friday with Sep 17th ceremony in Charleston, SC. it's still possible!

My oath is on 9/20/13 and am wondering what to do with the kids (6 months and nearly 3years old)

One half of me wants to bring them as it's a big day for me and I want my family to be there but then the other half is like arrrrgh what if the 6 month old gets grouchy etc etc, my parents in law will be there too to help.

Whats everyone else doing with their kiddos?

1st, Congratulations!!! we are taking our 5 year old and two 4 year olds, but i do see them get restless if the ceremony is long. my paper states to come at 8am and the ceremony doesn't start until 10:30, who know how long the actual ceremony will last, still 8am to noon in the heat might be too much for my little ones, so i am with you there. i want for them to come, but at the same time it might be more trouble than it's worth, especially for your 6 months old.

I don't have kids, but there were a few at my ceremony. None of your children will be able to be with you...they'll have to stay with your wife or whoever else comes to watch.

People with children were told that if their child cries they must leave the room immediately and come back once the child has calmed down.

I only heard one child cry and the mother refused to leave the room because she wanted to see her husband naturalize...but the security guard gave her no choice! I didn't see her come back in so I'm guessing the child wouldn't stop crying.
