any progress lately?

heyy,,NYC RSA....how r u ,,,any new updates .......Is USCIS continue to working n processing application in government shut down...??

Does files at new york field office takes lot of time.....its been 8 months now for us ....Do u think my file is at new york field office too,,,becoz uscis hasnt clear that,,,they say its pending....

Did u have infopass apoinment at new york field office,,,Does NY field office give any detail information on our case...whts goin on case,,how long

i havent gone for infopass ....how helpful is NY field office,,,

Just read through it going backwards, and you'll find a lot of answers. NYC RSA wrote his whole infoPass experience a few posts ago, and so did other people. You case is with the National Business Center and we have no estimates or time frames as to when your case will be processed.

Bleh... So I asked if it can ever be considered delayed, and he replied, not with I130 cases from the NBC sir.

What a load of #######. If a buisness ran like this it would be bankrupt quickly. I cannot wait until they are in charge of our health care... God save us all.

Still waiting... a few days short from 8 months. 2/21/13 @ NBC- Missouri. I think I will call today, just for the heck of it. Let's see what they come up with this time.

yep I called yesterday and asked for what happened to my service request and tier one told me to wait 30 more days, so I hung up on her, i hope that doesn't delay our case, ha its not like they are going any faster

I can't believe it, but our application was approved today!!!! 4 days short of 8 months. Friends, I know the process is long and frustrating. And I know we all feel helpless sometimes. But keep the faith, because good things can and will happen for us all!

Post Decision Activity

On October 16, 2013, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

For approved applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include USCIS sending notification of the approved application/petition to the National Visa Center or the Department of State. For denied applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include the processing of an appeal and/or motions to reopen or reconsider and revocations.

03/19/2014 Received receipt e-mails stating the documents for both I-864 and DS-260 had been attached to the case. Stated to wait up to 20 business days for processing
03/26/2014 Received a checklist regarding the birth certificate. This was previously provided in an email. Investigating what was wrong with the birth certificate.
03/26/2014 Called the NVC and was told this was likely because we accidentally submitted a "short form" birth certificate rather than a "long form", but we knew that wasn't the case.
03/26/2014 Wife called back to NVC and they told her that it was because the form was "too decorative". The lady on the phone told her to wait 25 days as she'll forward it to a supervisor.
04/04/2014 Email received with a CASE COMPLETE notification and P4 interview letter.
05/21/2014 Scheduled Interview Date.
5/21/2014 VISA APPROVED!!!!
07/04/2014 Sent renewed passport to Montreal consulate for visa placement due to old passport expiring.
07/18/2014 Visa status set to "Issued" on CEAC website.
09/29/2014 Entry to the United States.

09/12/2016 I-751 Filed to California Service Center
09/16/2016 I-751 NOA1 Recieved, Green Card Extended 1 Year
10/13/2016 Biometrics screening completed

yes it was. It was an MSC receipt number. We never found out if it got moved to another center or not.

Our receipt showed up online immediately when it was received and today was the first time I ever saw a status change.
