Why did you *need* early biometrics enough to have him use his uniform for unofficial duties? Is he being deployed soon and you need to join him?

1- It was after work, we went in together after he finished work (not that that relates to anything)

2- Yes, we *needed* to as we are both on orders to pcs to Germany on April 20 (as my signature states)

3- We had our biometrics scheduled for a date where we had already had to have left from Seattle because we have just moved to another base in California for six weeks so yes, we *needed* to do early biometrics.

I also forgot to mention that I am hoping to have my interview & oath in the Fairfax, VA office. I requested it in the memorandum that accompanied our expedited naturalization request, but when I'm assigned my interview I will see if the request was met. After we leave Travis AFB we will be heading east to take a rotator to our new base for four years in Germany, so hoping timing works out perfectly!

Re #2 - I have signatures disabled because some of them are ridiculously long

Yay, my husband will have his biometrics on 4 March! We didn't expect that he would have the appointment quite so soon - somehow we were under the impression that they'd give him at least three weeks' notice, but the letter only arrived yesterday. We are not complaining that the process is going fast though, in fact the sooner he has his citizenship the sooner we can upgrade our F2A case to IR and finally get the VSC to look at the petition he filed for me in 2011.

We included a Table of Contents; it was more of a checklist for us to make sure we had everything.

Its not joint filing because you are the only one filing for citizenship but it is based on 3 years marriage. So my letter did include my husbands name because in the explanation I made sure to say I was "filing based on 3 years of marriage to my husband ( name here )". Not 5 years of residency, in which case they could care less if you were married or not at that point.

I did include a cover letter. I am applying based off the 5 year rule, so I only included my name. :)
