Missing signature on passport

I think I already know the answer but I'd rather ask again to be sure.My fiance gave me a photocopy of his passport a few hours after it was issued to him but he forgot to signed it first. Can he fax over a signed copy to me or he has to snail mail it instead? How about if he photocopy, scan and email it to me?Will it work OK? Thank you so much!

I think you should definately get a signed copy of it, rather than submit the one without a signature. You may get an RFE for that, if you don't submit a signed one. My RFE delayed my petition about a month. I think he should scan the copies of the passport (if possible) and email those to you as an attachement. THen you can just print them out and submit. I actually did something similar like this with my fiance. I needed his signed G-325A forms, he lives in Mexico. Since I was filling them out for him, I filled them all out on the computer, printed them, scanned them and sent them to him. He printed them out, signed them, and then sent them via priority mail, which ended up costing 30 dollars to get here in like 4 days. Good luck!
