Hi 'me and t',

You always want to start your own new topic with a new thread. That way your question(s) will be much better highlighted, as you don't want to have your questions embedded in someone's ongoing thread.

Yes your wife will have to fill out I-864 even though she has zero income while her sister will fill out I-864A as a cosponsor. Check out the links below.

OP's wife and her sister (who would be a joint sponsor) both fill out the I-864.

thanks guys! I will read more about the i864 and i864A! cos we have sent in fill out copy of i864 which the sister fill and the i864A forms, with her w2 form but yet the NVC said we are still missing out some information! thanks guys for letting me know she still need to fill out form I 864!but our case as been approved and we are told she needs to send me the missing form before interview, so we are little worried on what form is it! but now I am thinking it should be her own form i864 and a letter to explain why she was not working! I hope am right on this?! thanks guys once again for ur response!

If you tell us what they said you were missing, we can be of more assistance but in your case wife and sister both supply the I-864. No I-864a is used in your case.

Well noted. Thank you.

Affidavits of support can get complicated. Best to wait until one of the many members well qualified to answer AOS questions comes along and then learn from what they/we write.
