UPDATE: My husband called NVC and they told him that our petition was received on the 28th last month but that it is gonna be 20 days before they assign a case number, he was asked to call on the 19th of this month... Should we wait what the lady said or not? as i have read that calling everyday is the best way to go...

Greetings, and Congrats! I was wondering when you recieved the approval for the application...or first recieved the i-797??? I just recieved mine for my husband on January 25th and he is from guatemala as well. Just wondering out of curiosity...thank you for your time ! :thumbs:

05/30/2013 - DS3032 & E-mail sent to remove Attorney and appoint petitioner as choice of Agent.
05/30/2013 - NVC accepted request and stated that further communication will now directed to petitioner.
06/04/2013 - AOS & IV bill e-mail received, generated and paid.
06/05/2013 - AOS & IV status paid.

well...Im not sure... As we hired a lawyer to help us with this process they receive all physical mail. We just got the email notification.

Our case is now on NVC and we are currently waiting for the sponsors to mail all the documents and forms to them!! Hopefully at the end of this week...wish us luck!!
