SIN/NJ TRAVELER,

Are you using an attorney? Do you have an online account with USCIS or E-mail notification? You really need the I-797 (NOA-2) hard copy document for further processing. Call them and request another copy.

At the end of the day, your case is highly peculiar, in that you received zero correspondence from CSC. You need to remedy that ASAP.

I got a NOA1 but never a NOA2 and then I suddenly got a letter from the NVC that said I was on my way to the consulate in Lagos. We have an interview date of 12/13/06, and still no NOA2 I have called USCIS several times, and the people who answer the phones are IDIOTS. Suposedly I have a special request or something, they gave me some kind of new reference number, and said I would be contacted in 30 days, it has been about 15 days sence then , I am still waiting. I am not sure what to do next my lawyer even called, she did not get very far either. I figure I will wait out the 30 days and start bugging them again. I really dont know what to tell you except it happens...Good luck, if you get results would be so kind as to share your method? And if I have progress I will let you know as well.

Regards,

Heather

amazing but congratulations .....! Good advice to check up !

Thanks andrew va thuy

We only filed our 129-f on Sept 25, 2006. Amazingly its been approved in 21 days. Thats pretty fast to reach the consulate in approximatly one month. Singapore and USA have a FTA free trade agreement. I believe this is why the process is so quick.

Well be sure to get this NOA2(I-797) because It will surely be needed at some point, the consulte didn't request to see it amazingly. However I suspect at POE or at AOS it will be needed. So must make sure to get it.

Good Luck to you on your VJ!

SIN/NJ TRAVELER,

Glad to hear your process was fast. I can assure you that FTA relationships with Singapore had zero bearing on your approval, as this is not a commodity exchange going on here. You were Vermont and fortunate, that is all.

Get the I-797 for your AOS, you will need that.

 Why do you wish him to turn off his caps key? Do you really think he's "shouting"? I don't think so and when I checked, reading his post in capital letters didn't hurt my ears. Chill. Who da heck really cares if someone writes in caps or not?

Ok I am not sure what NOA1 and NOA2 exactly is. I tried to read but I am going to take a guess and say that the letter of Approval and the reciept of the fee. I am hopign that is what is being talked about. I have both of those and today I got the letter in the mail that within a week my case is being forwarded to the visa-issuing post overseas. Please let me know if I have the two things you all are talking about please and thank you.
