06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

Yep I'm in the same boat :S it does seem like they are going slower...I looked last week and it said they were Processing the end of September & NOW it seems to say July Again ^^;;

Forget the charts on Visajourney. They simply use wrong algorithms. They should be corrected or torn down. The way they are now they create more harm than good by misleading people and causing wrong planing.

Hopefully the NVC stage and setting up the interview won't be too long but seeing that your country is Iran...../sigh. Good luck on your journey, I do pray that everything speeds up soon. The more time this takes the more numb I become with less " i want to pull my hair out" days :innocent:

wow- I started feeling the same way. Now this wait has unfortunately become part of my everyday life. I'm having more days that I wonder if this was all just a bad dream....surreal

Where are you reading July? I'm still seeing June 4th

A number of people have called CSC (December-January) and were told that they are currently processing July 17th. I believe its been like that since September.

I would suggest not paying any attention to the date ranges at the bottom of our timelines. They're just a computer generated estimate which change all the time. I pay attention to the numbers reflected in the trend charts and on Igor's list. The information within those to pages are the strongest evidence I feel we can get.

Praying for something very soon from the CSC on our 192nd day since our NOA1...

Good luck everyone.

Of course, we are all just guessing what is going on, but here's my wishful thinking. As I have been watching the past few months it seems that CR1s have been getting a lot more approvals recently than K1s. I know at some point (I'm guessing late September) the CR1s started being transferred to local offices. My wishful thinking is that they have allocated more resources to clearing out the remaining CR1s at the CSC, and when those are finished they will shift their attention back to the K1s. Looking at the timelines, they don't have many more CR1s to process. So hopefully the K1s will pick up speed soon!

They are like vehicles. Speed up to where we all are cheering, then back to pace laps or red flag stoppage. Don't worry most of us had 150-200 days between NOA1 and NOA2. Don't get excited until about 180 days. That is about high average if no RFE's.

Goodluck

I'm glad I didn't discover Visa Journey until after the NOA2. If I had to look at my timeline every day and try to figure out the logic, it would have driven me insane. whistling.gif

Yea now it is saying processing August 29....over a one month jump in just 1 day. I am officially convinced the algorithm is just bad and compounded with incorrect/incomplete data. I almost wish I had not discovered VJ, but it is so hard not to check it daily. Even looking at Igor's list it seems they have been stuck on the 3rd week of July for ages. What the heck!?!?

I know, I sure hope they get their act together on the K1's and start catching up. I noticed you are an August filer, so this has gotta be excruciating for you. Home stretch! Looking at the charts, it seems as though they start speeding up around this time. It must be the holidays. Government workers are already slow. Now throw in the holidays, and forget about it!! LOL....I was hoping the whole process would take 6 months to see my love, but I think the NOA2 alone will take that time...then another 2-3 months for NVC, interview, etc....

lets hope so.my hubby and i are doing a i130 and our first rec was feb6 of 2012 so a yr next month and still nothing.so we are still waiting even to get approved from uscis
