Good evening!!!!! Case complete. Received case number on 12/26 used the shortcuts and case complete today... Thank you everyone on this site for the guidance and advice through the process..... Now just hoping for a interview date to come soon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SOOOOOOOOOOO HAPPY !!!!!!!!! :dance: :dance: :dance: :dance:

Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Thats for sure! I was so overwhelmed with emotion and relief I just broke out in tears! Just waiting for that interview date and hope it doesnt take forever to receive.

09/26/2012: Mailed I-130 from Nigeria( delayed by customs)
USCIS stage ( 66 days)
10/12/2012: NOA 1
12/17/2012: NOA 2 (case was transferred to NYC office 11/27/12)
NVC stage ( 20 days)
01/08/2013: Case # and IIN assigned ( file arrived NVC mail room 12/20/12)
01/09/2013: AOS invoiced and paid, DS-3032 emailed and mailed.
01/16/2013: IV invoiced &paid. AOS & IV mailed in one package(arrived 01/18).
01/28/2013: Case complete!!!
04/19/2013: Interview; APPROVED!!!!!
05/13/2013: POE; JFK

N-400: (3 months and 12 days)
Filed N-400 : 2011-06-17
Interview: 2011-09-27
Oath Ceremony: 2011-09-30

IR-5 for Mom Entire process took 5 months exactly
USCIS (22days)
mailed I-130 : 2011-09-30
NOA 1: 2011-10-03 (text & email)
NOA 2: 2011-10-25 (text and email)
NVC: (19 days)
Case entered and # assigned: 2011-11-18
NVC Case COMPLETED: 2011-12-07 ( 43 days from NOA 2 and 65 days from NOA 1)
Interview Date(Lagos): 2012-01- 23 Mom was late for interview
New Interview date: 2012-02-29 : VISA APPROVED

she is talking about the NVC shortcuts here on the site under "guides" and "wiki". the best thing you could do for yourself is start preparing for NVC while waiting for USCIS approval(wtih exception fo thos documents with expiration dates) and once you are approved, the beneficiary shd send the rest of the doc to the petitioner while waiting for NVCcase #. double check you steps for accuracy and completeness and when in doubt ASK. so many people are willing to help out here.

You should also get on the NVC filers thread and follow it like glue. Everything and anything is asked there.

Use it read and read and read it again. Being proactive is all up to you.

HUSBAND'S CASE

9/17/2011 - sent I-13

09/19/2011 - noa1 received

3/16/2012 - case sent to my local USCIS office for additional processing

4/21/2012 - AP. If we haven't heard from them in SIX MONTHS (omg) we can feel free to call them!!! Thanks!

9/20/2012 - Interview scheduled - October 3!!!!

10/3/2012 - Interview went well but she must look at his A-file more before decision.

10/12/2012 - I-130 APPROVED! APPROVED! APPROVED!

KIDS' CASES

04/20/2012: NOA107/20/2012: instead of an approval, we got thrown into AP. sigh

11/01/2012: Boys' I-130 interview set for November 28, 2012.

11/28/2012: I-130s APPROVED! APPROVED! APPROVED!
