Okay, so I am about to send in my I129f packet but I need a few clarifications! I attached a few pictures of my fiance and I but on a MS word isntead of a digital and labeled them all with a caption. Is that going to work? Also, my engagement party was only my family and my inlaws and his aunt. Due to teh fact my grandmother passed away(RIP). Should I submit a explanation for that too or no? I attaached a receipt of my makeup but I dont know if that will help because they might ask why i got my makeup done and had a 5 people engagement party at home.

They're not actually fussed about your engagement party - what they care about is whether you've met or not. Pics of you two together is fine, you don't need to go nuts with the details. Got a photo from your engagement party of you two together? Just include that with the description of "engagement party", the date and location and that's it, along with whatever other pics and proof you're sending (like trip receipts or whatever).

They're more likely to talk to you about your party at the interview, so I wouldn't worry about it much now.

Yes, sending pictures that way is fine. I would include an explanation, it won't hurt. Not sure why you would include the receipt for make up, it doesn't prove anything. A receipt for an engagement ring is good evidence. Good luck!!!

Thanks so much! Because I know for some people they made a fuss, but some people it was easy!

Proof they are looking for is primarily pictures of the two of you together at various activities. Any pictures of the two of you with friends, family, hotels, well known tourist places. Label it with the names, dates, and title of place.

Proof of relationship is not required for the I-129f. Ony proof of meeting in person. I sent ONE photo of us together and other docuemtns to prove we met. We never had an engagement party. Even in cultures where that is preferred (VietNam comes to mind) it is best presented at the visa interview. USCIS couldn't care less. You need only meet the requirements of the petition to get the petition approved. The requirements of the visa are different but addressed when you apply for the visa at the interview.
