MAY 9TH

ITS ABOUT DANG TIME...TOOK 1 1/2 HOUR TO GET THROUGH

CONGRATULATIONS

I do not wish to share any information about this dead end journey.........I have reached my final destination on this train, and it is time for me to get off.

THIS TOO SHALL PASS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"If marriage means you fell in love, does divorce mean you climbed out?"

"You never really know a man until you have divorced him."-Zsa Zsa Gabor

"When a man hath taken a wife, and married her, and it come to pass that she find no favour in his eyes, because he hath found some uncleanness in her: then let him write her a bill of divorcement, and give it in her hand, and send her out of his house. And when she is departed out of his house, she may go and be another man's wife." Deuteronomy 24:1-2

"When you get to the end of your rope, tie a knot and hang on." - Franklin D. Roosevelt

"When one door of happiness closes, another opens; but often we look so long at the closed door that we do not see the one which has been opened for us." - Helen Keller

"Even though you may want to move forward in your life, you may have one foot on the brakes. In order to be free, we must learn how to let go. Release the hurt. Release the fear. Refuse to entertain your old pain. The energy it takes to hang onto the past is holding you back from a new life. What is it you would let go of today?" - Mary Manin Morrissey

"I know God will not give me anything I can't handle. I just wish that He didn't trust me so much." - Mother Theresa

Goodday all

Congrats Joanna It will be over before you know it

Squitto, Damn that sucks, hopefully he will get it straighten out today, :( Makes me nervous about ours they assured me that it doesn't matter if we file late as long as we were married in the 90 days.

Congrats Rncarter... :huh::dance::dance:

As for us, David misses his Daughter, I guess we will have to start all over and file a different type of visa, I have been sending emails asking if we can do a blood test, still no reply. I swallowed my pride and asked those lawyers, they had the nerve to tell me that they would sent a request when they had time  You think if I gave them almost 3,000$ they would have time to fix this mix up. I'm just not sure what to eat, meanwhile David becomes upset when his daughter calls weekly to tell him that they have nothing to eat :(

Rhonda, I know how you feel about second shift, this new night job I started is just not going to work, I will be looking for something else asap, It's hard. I don't get to see my hubby much if he is attending classes or helping with landscaping :(

Jill, yes keep the faith premies are troopers, she'll pull through :luv:

Everyone enjoy the rest of the week

Good morning,

I have a quick question, I just realized that I sent in the I130 but I did the pictures incorrectly. It says to place the photos in a bag-I did

place the bag on a piece of paper -I did

label the bag " Photo of <spouses name>- I did not do that , what I did was put the names on the respective sheets. Will that be a problem ? :help::help::help:

Oh my God I think I did the same thing!!! Since I got the NOA1, do you think they'll want it done the right way.

the interview went well, i was first called to window 5 and a charming young lady took all my documents and gave me my x-ray result and asked me 2 questions: have i ever been to the usa and have i ever been married. Silly me thought that was all, she told me to have a seat and after about 5 minutes a man called me at window 9, and when i went there he drilled me with a lot of questions such as:

1. how i met my fiancee

2. when was the first time we met

3. where di she say when she came to jamiaca

4. which college did she attend

5. what was her major in college

6. where are her parents from

7. how many people lives in her home

8. do i have any saved emails, from when we just started to email ecah other.

9. etc.................

and a about ten other questions. He was really sweating me. But in the end i GOT THE VISA.

Congrats :dance::dance:

DITTO to everyone !!!

Well, we (me and my son) are definitely not going down to JA for spring break, a little bummed......but....I just found out about an hour ago that I got confirmed for a travel agent trip to Montego Bay/Negril for April 24-27th. I'm WAY psyched !! I requested another month for our case and it was granted. They seem to reply back to my emails quickly? So time is ticking....

Who is going to Jamaica ? Where is everyone staying ? and what dates will those that are heading to JA be going ?

Kelly

I just have to share this, the funny thing is when I was calling the Embassy today I had Adrian on the line on 3way calling....it was funny cause he was getting so mad that it was taking so long getting through, we kept getting a busy signal or we would get through all the prompts and it would say "sorry but this line is busy" we had to have called at least 100 times before we got a real person.

I told him "Yeah see what I have had to go through for you, spending hours trying to call the Embassy"

he was really fed up, by the time we got the interview date he didnt seem excieted, i asked "whats wrong" he said "it took that long just for some one to answer the line and 2 minutes to tell us the date"

Oh and some other good news, I was just on line looking for flights and my mom and dad just called to tell me that i can use thier travel miles to get my ticket to JA :dance: ...that is about $250 we will save right there not having to pay for my plane ticket.

Anyway sorry for rambling on and on..

I remember those days :P That's the best part of finally getting approved - you no longer have to deal with the Jamaican Embassy  I don't understand why normal, simple things are SO difficult for them to handle. How hard is it to pick up the phone, look up the name, and tell you the interview date?!!! Only in Jamaica.
