My fiance in the US received notification that his I-129F had been approved on Jan 14, 2013. I just realized that on the G325A where we had to fill out what embassy to go to for the visa we chose Toronto Canada because it was one of the choices in the electronic form and I live close to there. Only now, after reading a lot of posts on this site, do I understand that the Toronto embassy does not handle the interviews for the fiance visa.

What should I do to get my paperwork directed to the proper embassy? Montreal is the closest to me.

When I signed into my account at the USCIS the update is as follows so I'm assuming it's about to be sent to the NVC. Am I better to wait until it gets there to try and have it redirected? How would I go about doing that? Is there more than one NVC or do all petitions go to one office?

Thanks so much for any help !

My apologies ... I should have done some more reading on this site before starting the post ... I found the NVC phone number. I'll follow up with them in a week or two and work with them to direct my package to the proper embassy.

This site is a true wealth of information. Thanks to all who have spent a ton of time putting this together for those of us working our way through the process.
