Timeline

Went to the visa pickup with my husband today at 11am

We finally got out at 2pm after lots of waiting and praying all these months, Alhamduililah my husband got his visa today and we are so happy Alhamdulilah.

antisiar- they replied to me from her office and told me to sign the release form and im going to fax it yomorrow cuz i filled it out slready but i need to sign it then fax it. but i wanted to know are they going to just need my case number only nothing else besides that

they need your case number and a brief explanation of what's u are going through and they also need your social security number. I filled out the whatever was asked of me in the form then signed it. Insha'allah u will get good news soon.

I meant June not July, they sent me an email on June 28 saying its case complete. And then they sent me the appointment email in november

Blissfully beauty so you had to wait for like 5 months for an appointment that's not bad compared to the others. So I got case complete on October 24, 2013 inshallah I get and appointment on feb or march I'm soo happy for u guys that got there visa inshallah 2014 is a good year khar ya rab

Hey everyone I would like to thank all of you for the help and for giving me the support that I needed. My husband received his visa. Even though our visa journey is over alhmaduallah I will still never leave this, I would continue to help anyone who is new to this and whoever need anything. Just like you all did . Thank you all and soon inshallah you all will receive you visa soon and be done with this journey.

Yea alhamdillah it was only 5 months I know someone who's case has been complete for going on to 2 years and still nothing.

Does being a born citizen count for anything? Like if a green card holder and a born American citizen petitions for his wife/kids would the born citizen receive and appointment quicker or its just luck?
