Hello!

We called the NVC today (K1 Visa) and they entered our case in to the computer on December 28(NOA2 date-December 18) and I got my MNL# but it was not sent to the embassy yet.

Would it be best to wait until the NVC sends the case to embassy in Manila to pay for the visa and book the interview online OR can we pay and schedule immediately?

Thanks!

You can pay and book your interview once you have your MNL case number, you're good to go

We scheduled the interview the day after we got the MNL #, about month out from the date NVC gave me the MNL#, that gave NVC plenty of time to get the packet to USEM. It also allowed for plenty of time for my wife (then fiancee) to get the medical, NBI and NSO handled along with completing all the required forms on the embassy website.

There is a link in my signature to the K-1 visa process that has links to USEM, SLEC and CFO.
