Did you recently get your I-864 AOS Fee Bill from NVC ?

Hi all, I need to mail in the self generated AOS Fee Bill with my payment.

The NVC already generated and mailed the original but I am using James shortcut.

I want someone who very recently got their AOS Fee Bill to look at it and tell me what the return mailing address should be.

Also, can I send a personal check drawn on my US bank or does it have to be a money order ? I thought if I used a personal check it would allow me to see when it was cashed and processed. Will sending a guaranteed money order make the NVC process any quicker than a personal check? Like maybe they have to wait for personal check to clear fully before going to next step versus guaranteed money order allowing them to move to next step immediately ?

The mailing address is listed on the shortcuts but I want to make sure that is still the accurate address and that there have not been any changes.

Please include the complete address in your reply.

Also, I know it is a P.O. Box address and FEDEX and UPS overnight do not ship to P.O. Boxes so what is the FASTEST method I can use to get it back to them ? I don't want to rely on USPS First Class Mail.

Thanks

Not sure about your first question, but as for mailing it fast - US Priority Mail is 2- 3 days and will send it to a PO Box - I have done this before and just waived the signature requirement.

DO NOT SEND PERSONAL CHECK! they will not accept it. if you are following james shortcut, the forms you download to send in the AOS fee bill will also state that. i've used it about a month ago so just follow the shortcut and make sure you read every single step word for word. i paid with a money order from washington mutual which is my bank and was able to track it via (800) number for AOS fee bill and IV bill. both bills will not accept personal checks, only money order or cashiers check

i used the post office to mail all documents. the AOS fee bill, IV bill, and DS-230 have been sent priority mail, 2-3 days (about $5 with confirmation) while the rest of the documents were sent overnight (about $14 with confirmation). if i remember correctly the AOS fee bill has a St. Louis address

Send as stated..using money order or cashiers check, others will cause delays.

Yes it is mailed to the St.Louis address.

It is:

National Visa Center

PO Box 790135

St. Louis, MO 63179-0135

I just received the actual envelope, and the bar code is not the same as James Short Cuts.

But I talked to the lady at NVC and she said the ones such as James Short Cuts will be accepted as the new ones will be. I hope she is right as I sent mine using the short cuts.

good Luck and God Bless.

I'm sorry I meant on the agent of choice the bar code has changed and is different from James Short Cuts but it is OK they said if you used the short cuts. the Affidavit of Support bill is the same as in short cuts...forgive me. take care.

you can use USPS Express mail for overnight that will ship to PO box. I sent all documents by overnight, but since I-864 is not in critical path, Priority mail is good enough. The DS-230 is the one that is on a longer path and I would overnight it.
