Hi all, I'm currently working in a country and had applied to interview there too. However my contract ends and I'll be returning to my home country in two months, so I'm worried that I may not be processed in time to interview in my current country. Can anyone advise me on the procedures for changing to interview in a different embassy?

Welcome to the forum.

:time: It enables forum members to give you focused responses. Where are you in the process? You will likely have to contact the NVC and/or the DoS and/or the respective interviewing embassies/consulates to try to move your upcoming interview. Realize that it will likely further delay your visa process.

Recall the statement after question #20 on the your original Form I-129F petition:

"NOTE: (Designation of a U.S. embassy or consulate outside the country of your fiancé(e)'s last residence does not guarantee acceptance for processing by that foreign post. Acceptance is at the discretion of the designated embassy or consulate.)"

Good luck.

Completed: K1/K2 (271 days) - AOS/EAD/AP (134 days) - ROC (279 days)

Thanks for the reply. I filed nearly 4 months ago and am still waiting for the second NOA.

Does anyone have any specific experience relating to this?
