Just received an e-mail this afternoon. :dance: Interview date on May 8th but I have to work! Is there a way to reschedule to after mother's day? because my boss ain't letting me go

gotta do what I gotta do even tho my boss doesn't approve. might have to resign and look for a new job. does my wife need to make appointment for medical? is a week before interview enough?

things changed recently about one of the clinics in guangzhou, so i can't remember if that new place requires an appointment or no.

prior? all was walk-in - if you get there first thing in the morning, can be done between 2 to 4 pm.

suggest renegotiate with the boss, for unpaid time off.

ya, i told her to call the clinic but they never answer. so 1 week before is good enough time? because i'm leaving on april 29th til may 30th. her interview is may 8th. ya i spoke with my boss. she'll give me an answer on whats goin to happen tomorrow or so.

01/26/12 - NOA1 received and processing at Vermont.

06/28/12 - NOA2 announced on status check.

06/29/12 - NVC received case learned on 07/2/12.

06/30/12 - Hard copy NOA2 received.

07/09/12 - NVC Casefile Number and IIN Issued.

07/16/12 - Receive and Sent DS-3032 via email.

07/17/12 - Mailed DS-3032 via mail, AOS bill received via email, paid online, Optin email sent.

07/18/12 - Optin accepted and new case number, AOS marked paid, emailed AOS packet.

07/24/12 - Assigned as Agent, IV Fee bill received via email, paid online.

07/25/12 - IV Fee marked paid, emailed IV packet.

07/31/12 - Emailed GZO Supplemental Packet 3.

08/02/12 - Case completed and commenced final review.

the medical exam is all walk in. no appointments. Expect to stay in Guangzhou for two days. One day for medical and next day to pick up the results. Or three hours bus ride each way to Guangzhou from Taishan.

FYI

I didn't go to the interview and she passed without my presence. If going to interview and expect to bring her back. You may need to take about 3-4 weeks off. My case after all said and done, interview to visa in hand took about two weeks. If you insist on going, and boss is not having it. Expect to find another job.

yea, my boss took away my vacation pay and my insurance but i gotta do what i gotta do. i have to be with her because of something that i cannot say yet. hope everything goes well. thanks for everyone's support! btw if the interview is on may 8th at 7:30am. is that the day for fingerprint and documents? and my P4 pdf 2nd page is blank. it is 5 pages. hope it isn't missing something

ya, actually, i think you could put the FMLA paperwork in and get the time off from work.

The boss might like it, after all it's govered by a frickin law and that's great 'back up' for the 'why', to her bosses.
